About

Hi, I’m Coach Sammy, originally from Manchester, England, where we call it football. These days I coach soccer in the U.S., but my approach to the game was shaped early on through academy-level training on the French Riviera with Cap d’ail, where the focus was on technique, creativity, and comfort on the ball. During that time, my development led to opportunities to train and trial within the English club system, before I later went on to represent Warwick University, and, ultimately, saw my playing career cut short by injuries.
Today, I coach soccer full time with children ages 2–13, while continuing to progress through the U.S. Soccer coaching license pathway. My philosophy is simple: soccer should be technical, skill-based, and creative, building confidence rather than pressure. I believe the beautiful game belongs to everyone, not just the fastest or strongest, and that when kids fall in love with the ball early, everything else follows naturally. Through Little Hot Shots, I bring that belief to life in small-group sessions, private training, camps, and playful environments where every child feels supported, challenged, and excited to come back.
